When Did You Start Writing?

When Did You Start Writing?

Fourth grade. My teacher announced a persuasive writing contest where we could pick our own topic. I wrote about increasing reading in public schools. I solely wanted others to be moved by my words no matter how old I was. That's when I knew I never wanted to give up writing. I received the bronze ribbon.

Who Believes In Your Dreams?

Who Believes In Your Dreams?

My husband, Richard. His love is constant and I tell him he's the cultivator of my dreams! He helps create environments that are conducive to writing. His encouragement and devotion to our marriage makes it easy to concentrate on anything I do in life. I'm grateful for the love and affirmation from my family and friends. They cheer me on and never once waiver in their support. Photo by Brian Hill

What Do You Use To Write?

What Do You Use To Write?

Paper. Pen. Done. It's really that simple. I do type out what I've written, but that usually doesn't happen right away. I like to utilize paper until I can't make anymore sense of my own handwriting and I'm driven to organize my thoughts, characters, chapter titles, plots, subplots by finally typing everything out.
